Reina (レーナ, Rēna?) is a character in Didn't I Say to Make My Abilities Average in the Next Life?! series written by FUNA.
Background[]
Reina, known as Crimson Reina, is a mage specializing in combat magic.[19] She has a signature fire spell called Crimson Hellfire.
She is the daughter of a traveling merchant.[19] At a young age, after her father was killed by bandits Reina became a huntress, gaining practical skills and developing them, thus becoming the most experienced member of the Crimson Vow. She often leads the group unofficially.
Personality[]
She has a bad habit of not being honest with her feelings, often feigning disinterest or that it's no bother when she wishes to help others. She hates it when someone assumes she is younger than she really is.[19] Despite being 15 years old at the start of the series, she is assumed to be of similar age to Mile, the youngest member of the Crimson Vow, who is 12 at the start of the series. This is mostly due to her height and flat chest. She has a fierce temperament when around bad people or bandits, but later learns to control her murderous tendencies around such folks and instead work on making sure they are properly punished. She is shown to be a very strong leader, being able to coordinate the other members of the Crimson Vow with hand signals and back up plans. She has absolute trust in each member, and works with the mentality that each of them have strengths and weaknesses. Despite often coming off as a Tom Boy, she does actually enjoy shopping for cute, girlish things, and often worries that the other members will look down at her for this. She is also the one who often gets riled up the quickest, and also the one who usually sees what Stage of Anger Mile is in.
She is very insecure to the point of being known as the most insecure member of the Crimson Vow.[20]
Appearance[]
Reina has long crimson-colored hair tied back by a large mustard-colored ribbon and matching color crimson eyes. She dresses in a black, white laced dress, with a brown sash, knee-high socks, and black shoes. Reina also carries on her person a wooden staff with a mustard-colored orb on the top center of it.
